Job Description:

● Teach and educate medical students, residents, and fellows in the principles and

practices of ophthalmology

● Develop course content, prepare lectures, lead seminars, and provide individual

instruction and feedback to students

● Provide clinical services in ophthalmology, including performing eye exams, diagnosing

and treating eye diseases and conditions, and performing surgeries

● Participate in clinical and research activities to improve patient outcomes and advance

the field of ophthalmology

● Contribute to academic community by serving on committees, participating in

departmental and institutional events, and engaging in outreach activities

● Mentor and supervise junior faculty, residents, and fellows, and provide guidance for

their professional development

● Seek and secure funding for research projects and prepare grant proposals

● Collaborate with other departments and healthcare organizations to develop and

implement programs to improve patient outcomes and healthcare delivery in

ophthalmology.
