 Assists with planning, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive enterprise-wide

security program that protects the PLIL system’s information systems.

 Effectively responds to all reported security incidents and other reports of suspicious activity.

 Manages user accounts; assures defined user authentication procedures are strictly followed

for new account creations, account terminations, and account authority changes; performs

routine user account auditing.

 Monitors networks and computer systems for security breaches, through use of software

that detects intrusions, anomalous system behavior, and unauthorized network-attached

devices.

 Plans and participates in cyber security improvement projects for the purpose of maintaining

a mature security program for the PLIL.

 Ensures all operating systems and software applications in the PLIL system enterprise are up-

to-date with security patches as required by the IT Security Program.

Experience:

 Knowledge of SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), SOC (Security Operation Center)

 Familiar with SQL, MySQL etc.

 TCP/IP, computer networking, NAC.

 IDS/IPS, penetration and vulnerability testing
