Job Title: Compliance Expert

About the Role:

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Compliance Expert to ensure 100% adherence to statutory requirements and safeguard organizational interests. This role requires strong expertise in managing compliance, legal, and tax-related matters across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely filings and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in India and abroad.
- Manage assessment meetings and proceedings to avoid adverse judgments, including for direct and indirect taxes.
- Identify and implement opportunities to optimize tax outflows for the group.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate data capturing and disclosure in financial statements.
- Draft, negotiate, and advise on various agreements, including employment, service, and commercial contracts, ensuring robust protection of organizational interests.
- Safeguard the organization’s intellectual property (IP) and take prompt action against any infringements.
- Support corporate restructuring and mergers when required.
- Work with cross-border structures and manage compliance across multiple legal entities.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Education: Chartered Accountant (1st attempt, 2018–2020 batch).
- Preferred: Additional LLB or Company Secretary qualification.

Expertise:

- Strong understanding of tax planning strategies and direct/indirect tax management.
- Experience in working with cross-border structures and multiple legal entities.
- Knowledge of corporate restructuring and mergers is an advantage.

Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
