They are looking for a visionary Director – Marketing (E-commerce) to lead end-to-end digital marketing, brand strategy, and customer acquisition for the next phase of growth.
Role Overview
The Director – Marketing (E-commerce) will be responsible for owning the brand’s entire marketing, growth, and communication strategy across online platforms. This includes performance marketing, CRM, brand communications, influencer marketing, and partnerships.
The role requires a mix of strategic thinking and executional excellence — someone who can drive revenue growth while strengthening the brand’s emotional connect with consumers.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Growth Strategy
Build and execute a comprehensive marketing roadmap aligned with business and revenue goals.
Own customer acquisition, retention, and brand engagement across digital touchpoints.
Lead a team of marketing and creative professionals to deliver integrated campaigns.
Performance Marketing
Drive performance marketing across Meta, Google, YouTube, and affiliate channels with a strong focus on ROI.
Define key KPIs (CAC, LTV, ROAS, retention rate) and optimize continuously for efficiency.
Collaborate with growth agencies and internal teams to scale high-performing campaigns.
Brand Building & Content Strategy
Define and evolve the brand positioning and communication architecture.
Build strong storytelling across creative assets, campaigns, and influencer collaborations.
Maintain consistency in tone, design, and messaging across D2C and marketplace platforms.
CRM & Retention
Develop and implement a data-led retention and loyalty strategy using CRM, WhatsApp, and app-based marketing.
Improve repeat rates and customer lifetime value through lifecycle automation and personalization.
Analytics & Insights
Leverage marketing analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel, AppsFlyer, Clevertap) to measure performance.
Present actionable insights to the leadership team on consumer behavior, channel performance, and ROI.
Leadership & Collaboration
Manage cross-functional collaboration with product, tech, and business heads.
Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team that blends creativity with analytical rigor.
Work closely with founders/investors on growth strategy and long-term brand planning.
Ideal Candidate Profile
12–18 years of experience in digital marketing / brand management / growth within D2C, consumer, or e-commerce brands.
Proven track record of scaling revenue and brand equity in a digital-first environment.
Deep understanding of digital performance channels, CRM, and influencer ecosystems.
Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in managing large budgets and high-performance teams.
MBA in Marketing or related field preferred (not mandatory).
