The Business Development team at Life insurance company is at the forefront of client relationship management and this position will be responsible for bringing new client partnerships to company. Aligning the strategic objectives of company with those of the client and working with client teams across functions to arrive at common goals is a key deliverable. This team comprises self-motivated and highly driven individuals who excel with partners, work collaboratively with other colleagues and have superior business development skills. Being the face of company within Banca, Credit Life etc incumbent will be working closely with Banca Heads, Wealth Heads, Credit Life Heads across Banks and NBFC industry participants, which gives an opportunity to work with a myriad set of organizations such as commercial Banks, NBFCs, SFBs, payment banks and increasingly FinTech’s.
What the CM/AVP – Strategic Alliances -Business Development will be doing At Pramerica Life
Manages corporate agency partnerships across Banks, NBFCs etc
Responsible for business development across a set of mapped Bank accounts; adopts a consultative B2B alliances process to identify new opportunities, make client pitches, structure commercial proposals to acquire and lock-in Pramerica Life corporate agency / Credit Life partnerships
Supports in the product development strategy across core, digital by obtaining and providing competition product mapping etc
Embeds Pramerica Life capabilities across Banca, Credit Life, BROCA for signing up new partnerships
Improves client engagement through on-going relationship management
Key Result Areas
Responsible for Life’s Banca and Credit Life tie-up as corporate agents / group master policy holder, structuring commercial proposals offered to Banks, NBFCs etc
Engagement across levels and functions within clients eco- system (Banks, NBFCS) to identify opportunities across Bank’s internal channels and embed Pramerica Life’s product offerings & capabilities to drive new partnership acquisition on corporate agency or group master policy platform
Demonstrate a product approach across functions viz. Client Support Services, Brand / Marketing, VAS, operations support and deliver added value through new acquisitions
Key Performance Indicators
company’s tie-up with Banks & NBFC for Corporate Agency and Group Credit Life
Identify potential partners in the Bancassurance & alternate channel for entering into Insurance cross-sell agreements and build relationships with potential channel partners and negotiate agreements for set up of alliances/ tie-ups with identified channel partners. Will be responsible for forging alliances with partners augmenting digital acquisition of customers, subject matter expert in integrating digital acquisition customer strategy with partner’s digital journey.
