We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technology strategy and execution for our rapidly growing fintech company. The CTO will be responsible for driving innovation, ensuring scalable technology infrastructure, and aligning technological initiatives with the company’s business goals. This leadership role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the fintech domain.

Technology Strategy & Vision:

Define and execute the technology roadmap to support business objectives.

Lead innovation initiatives to maintain a competitive edge in the fintech landscape.

Identify emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the business.

Leadership & Team Development:

​

Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing technology team.

​

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Set clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for the technology team.

Product Development:

​

Oversee the development and delivery of scalable, reliable, and secure fintech products.

​

Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to prioritize features and ensure timely delivery.

Ensure user-centric design and high-quality user experiences in all products.

​

Infrastructure & Security:

​

Establish and maintain a robust, scalable, and secure technology infrastructure.

​

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards.

​

Implement best practices for cybersecurity and risk management.

​

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

​

Work closely with the executive team to align technology initiatives with business goals.

​

Represent the technology team in board meetings, investor discussions, and strategic planning sessions.

​

Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance technology capabilities.

​

Operational Excellence:

​

Drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness in technology operations.

​

Establish KPIs to measure the performance of technology initiatives.

​

Lead incident management and troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

​

Education:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

​

Experience:

​

10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably in fintech or related industries.

​

Proven track record of scaling technology teams and building complex technology solutions.

​

Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, microservices architecture, and DevOps.

​

Skills:

​

Expertise in emerging fintech technologies such as blockchain, AI/ML, and payment systems.

​

Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.

​

Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

​

Experience in cloud technologies, including architecture, deployment, and management of cloud services (AWS preferred).

​

Expertise in software architecture principles, design patterns, cloud computing, DevOps, and security practices.

​

Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks, preferably Java Microservices (using Spring Boot) or Node.js, React or VueJS, mobile applications (Native or Hybrid), SQL, and NoSQL databases.
