Job Description

Role Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations / HR Generalist to join our team. This role requires managing payroll, onboarding, and day-to-day HR activities to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Management:

Prepare, process, and verify payroll for all employees.

Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations (PF, ESI, TDS), and company policies.

Resolve employee payroll queries in a timely and efficient manner.

2. Onboarding & Offboarding:

Facilitate smooth onboarding processes, including document verification, induction sessions, and system setup.

Conduct exit formalities and ensure completion of clearance processes.

3. HR Operations:

Maintain and update employee records in the HRMS.

Track and manage attendance, leaves, and other employee data.

Address employee queries and provide HR-related support.

4. Compliance & Policies:

Ensure adherence to labor laws and company HR policies.

Assist in drafting, updating, and communicating HR policies and SOPs.

5. Employee Engagement & Welfare:

Organize and support employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities.

Act as a liaison for employee grievances and resolve conflicts.

6. Reporting & Documentation:

Generate regular HR reports on payroll, attendance, and employee performance metrics.

Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal reviews.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in HR operations, payroll, and generalist roles.

Proficient in HRMS software and payroll tools.

Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.

Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity.
