The IT In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations of systems, and driving technological improvements. This role requires a proactive individual with technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills to support business operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management:
Manage and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data.
Oversee server and database administration.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide technical support to staff, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
Conduct system diagnostics and resolve network problems.
Maintain detailed logs of issues and resolutions.
Technology Planning and Implementation:
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve business processes.
Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations with minimal disruption.
Manage IT projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Cybersecurity and Compliance:
Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect against threats.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
Conduct regular security audits and disaster recovery drills.
Vendor and Asset Management:
Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for hardware/software procurement and maintenance.
Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets and ensure their optimal usage.
Team Collaboration and Training:
Train staff on IT systems, tools, and cybersecurity protocols.
Collaborate with other departments to address their IT needs.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in IT management or similar roles.
Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security protocols.
