Job Summary:

We are seeking dynamic and passionate educators to join our Pre-University College in the subjects of Physics. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, fostering an engaging learning environment, and preparing students for university entrance exams and board exams. The teacher will also participate in the overall development of the students, ensuring their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

​

Curriculum Delivery:

​

- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in accordance with the Pre-University College syllabus and curriculum guidelines.
- Utilize various teaching methods and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Ensure the timely completion of the syllabus and assist students in exam preparation (PUC and competitive exams like NEET, JEE, etc.).

Student Engagement & Development:

- Inspire and motivate students to explore and understand the concepts of Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Biology.
- Provide individual support and guidance to help students grasp complex topics.
- Promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning techniques.

Assessment & Evaluation:

​

- Design and implement periodic assessments, tests, and quizzes to evaluate student performance.
- Provide constructive feedback on students’ work and help them improve their academic abilities.
- Prepare students for both internal and board exams, ensuring their conceptual understanding.

Lab and Practical Sessions:

​

- (For Physics, Chemistry, and Biology teachers) Conduct laboratory experiments and practical’s as per the curriculum.
- Ensure safety and proper use of laboratory equipment.
- Guide students in completing practical records and preparing for practical examinations.

Collaboration & Coordination:

​

- Work closely with other teachers in the department for planning and sharing best practices.
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and other college events.
- Participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to support the overall development of students.

Mentorship & Guidance:

​

- Act as a mentor to students, helping them with academic concerns, career guidance, and personal development.
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends and incorporate innovative teaching methodologies.

Administrative Tasks:

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
- Participate in the preparation of academic reports and other administrative duties as assigned by the college.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

A Master’s degree in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Biology(or a related field) is required. A B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.

Experience:

- Prior teaching experience in a Pre-University College or equivalent educational institution is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Indian Pre-University curriculum and competitive exam requirements is an advantage.
