We are looking for a VP, Sales & Sales Operations who is passionate about building and managing a high-performance team of field sales reps, sales managers, and inside sales reps. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of leading sales teams in corporate and early-stage startups, and bring a mix of strategic and planning skills, hiring skills, team management skills, \s\s
problem solving skills, and metrics driven sales execution skills. This role will report to the CEO, and the candidate will be part of the management team. 
The selected candidate needs to be based in Hyderabad, Bangalore, or Chennai, close to our markets of TS, TN, and KA. 
**Roles and Responsibilities **\s\s
• Recruit and manage a high performing sales team, composed of field sales reps, sales managers, and inside sales representatives.  \s\s
• Identify the overall sales strategy and approach, including KPIs and metrics for success. \s\s
• Responsible for attaining sales targets. \s\s
• Create and manage the process for lead generation. \s\s
• Run a rigorous sales process, including weekly, monthly, quarterly pipeline and sales forecasts. \s\s
• Work closely with the founders and management team to identify and address challenges in scaling the organization. \s\s
• Get hands-on with sales collateral and training, including calling scripts, rude Q&A, objection management etc. \s\s
• Provide coaching around sales process and execution. \s\s
• Hire and grow a strong sales team
**Education & Experience **\s\s
• Bachelor’s or higher degree. \s\s
• 5+ years of experience in B2B sales leadership roles in corporate and early-stage startups. \s\s
• 5+ years managing sales teams. \s\s
• Breadth of experience across inside sales and field sales. \s\s
• Demonstrated experience building and scaling sales teams. \s\s
• Experience selling to low-tech SMB businesses in India. \s\s
• Demonstrated experience with value-proposition based selling.
